American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began as a supporting actress in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she was cast in the character as reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. Also, she played an integral role in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. In the premiere season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara as a young Moira and in the following season, she was Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced of many characters in the comedy show Family Guy. Since 2019, she has starred in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and her moved to California [1] where they lived for a year , before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to be interested in acting, singing, and photography when she was 13. At the age of 15, she moved with her mom back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career
